Lunch On Me is a non profit organization dedicated to eradicating starvation one meal at a time. Home base is currently in Los Angeles helping provide the homeless on Skid Row a fresh, healthy meal every day. Run on the support of community volunteers, Lunch On Me throws block parties where everyone is invited. Of course, they provide meals, but also offer entertainment, provide necessary grooming services to those that might need them, and really foster cultivating relationships between the entire community.
Lunch On Me has crossed the sea to Hawaii and is looking to do the same type of good in our own backyard. On May 20th we encourage our community to come together for a great time and a good cause! Lunch On Me is still looking for donations and volunteers to help with this event. They still have a few of their rad t-shirts for sale. If you are interested in donating food, anything helps, but they are currently looking for cucumbers, sesame oil, sesame seeds, scallions, imitation crab, ginger, fish oil, ahi tuna, mahi mahi, avocado, green & purple cabbage, unsweetened grated coconut, macadamia nuts, mayo, soy sauce, coconut milk, beluga lentils, coconut oil, rice vinegar, just to name a few. Please contact Carima or Emily directly if you would like to help or if you need additional information.
